Vertical greenery is sikis amerikaa thing now.
After China last month, India's Silicon Valley, Bangalore, now has a vertical garden.
Local NGO SayTrees has set up the city's first organic garden on one of the pillars of a popular flyover.

The organisation aims to cover all pillars of this 9-kilometer (5.5 miles) long flyover with such creatively designed green patches.
Vertical gardens not only beautify a city and improve biodiversity but also check pollution, reduce smog, act as sound barriers and improve foot traffic.
With an automated drip irrigation system installed within the garden, the plants will get their daily dose of 100 milliliters of water, according to SayTrees.
Incidentally, Bangalore is also known as India's Garden City. However, rapid urban development has taken a toll on its trees of late.
This should come as a relief to its residents!
