LONDON -- After undertaking the role of Winston Churchill in Netflix's new original drama series The 海外ポルノ映画 字幕入りCrown, American actor John Lithgow seems to have developed a penchant for playing British politicians.

However, his interest in UK political drama isn't confined to the shenanigans of the mid-20th century.
“It suddenly occurred to me that Peter Morgan has to write about this Brexit moment,” he's quoted as saying, “And I want to play Boris Johnson. I want dibs on that part!”
Of course, Lithgow's Anglophilic tendencies are likely more strongly rooted in his love affair with British theatre than anything to do with the political sphere.
Of The Bard he fondly notes, "Shakespeare was mother’s milk,” he studied on a Fulbright scholarship at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, and he has performed in numerous British productions including alongside the Royal Shakespeare Company.
