AMC emailed members on Wednesday regarding its reopening, including strict health and safety regulations, new pricing, and upcoming titles. Guests and employees will wear masks at all times, social distancing will be enforced with seating, and theaters will be cleaned and disinfected throughout the day, including during longer intervals between screenings.
The $0.15 price tag will only be valid on opening day. Additionally, the theater also plans to screen classic movies like Back to the Future,Ghostbusters,Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, Black Panther, and more. Tickets for those older titles will be $5 per person, while new releases will remain at the 2020 price point after August 20.
