Social media has been flooded with complaints from people saying they're getting an error message when trying to connect to College Football '25's servers.

A screenshot captured the night of its early release on Monday suggested more than 600,000 people were playing online hours after it dropped. That kind of demand could be the reason EA has struggled to keep it servers up, even if the classic way of playing a college football video game is totally offline. Some users have suggested disconnecting your console from the internet to access the offline Dynasty Mode in the game.
