One mall thinks it has the cure for bored shopping companions.
The melayu boleh cerira lucahGlobal Harbour mall in Shanghai has just launched gaming pods meant to entertain men who are waiting for their significant others to finish shopping.
SEE ALSO: New luxury internet cafes in China are ensuring gamers won't ever want to leaveThe booths, which the mall calls "husband pods," invites the player into a clear enclosure, seating them down on a plush seat in front of a PC gaming rig and peripherals.
The mall is trying out four pods for a month.

"Well my boyfriend often asks me to accompany him for shopping trips," said one user on Weibo.
"I'm a girl and I want to go in to play too," another added.
"I don't like shopping but my husband enjoys it...guess I know what I'll be doing next time he shops," one commented.
Others also had mixed reviews.
"I'm going to accompany my girlfriend to the mall every day," one user said, in support.
"I would be willing to go shopping with my girlfriend if I could even get one" another quipped.
"If my husband tells me he'd rather go game than shop with me I'll get really mad," a user said.
