The biggest star in The Quiet Place: Day One is Frodo, a feline played by real cats Nico and Schnitzel. Sam, the main character of the film, is Frodo's owner (good name combo). If you're unfamiliar with the plot of the Quiet Place franchise, it's easy to grasp: If Death Angels hear you, they'll kill you, so you have to stay silent.
A Quiet Place: Day Onefollows Sam, played by Lupita Nyong'o, on the day the Death Angels arrive on Earth. Frodo runs off toward the subway and connects Sam with Eric, who escapes the flooded subway. The course of the movie follows Sam, Eric, and Frodo as they silently run, jump, and swim to escape the Death Angels. The cat is remarkably quiet the entire time.
