He praised it for its "serious power" thanks to its S9 SiP and Ultra Wideband chip, as well as its souped-up peak brightness of up to 2000 nits.
While the Double Tap feature is an interesting addition that uses a simple pinching of your index finger and thumb to perform actions, Schroeder appreciated the Series 9's zippier speed and improved battery life even more, as well as the improved Neural Engine that assists with processing Siri's tasks on the watch itself.
