The romantic fantasy musical, which perfectly explores the concept of selfishness, greed and falling in love with an anthropomorphic buffalo, is set to hit theaters March 17.
But what is a remake without a few changes to keep it fresh and exciting? Director Bill Condon and the writers apparently had a lot of new ideas ready to roll out for this new film, but unfortunately most of them did not make it to the final cut of the film.
Well fear not. I got an exclusive look at the first draft script and here are five very real and not made upchanges to Beauty and the Beastthat were ultimately scrapped.
