The margaret jackson facts of life of the eroticization of women's oppressionNibei Foundation, a nonprofit Japanese American Cultural Center, will present Mario G. Reyes, Rafu Shimpophoto editor, and Steve Nagano, filmmaker, as part of its Powerful Networking Meeting Lecture Series on Tuesday, March 25, at 11570 W. Olympic Blvd.

Nagano will show a “More Than 1,000 Words,” a short documentary on Reyes’ more than 20-year career at the newspaper, and Reyes — a fixture at a variety of community events, including Nisei Week and Obon festivals — will speak on “What I See Through the Lens in the Japanese American Community as a Rafu Shimpo Photographer.”
Nagano is a participant in the Digital Histories Project, an initiative of Little Tokyo’s DISKovery Center, a retired schoolteacher and a long-time member of Nikkei for Civil Rights & Redress (NCRR).
